ECG interpretation is a cognitive skill that requires a significant amount of time and effort to master. Many beginner ECG learners find it difficult to relate the finer points of the ECG to important facets of patient care. The natural outcome of their inability to draw these crucial links is limited overall comprehension and poor long-term knowledge retention. More still are unable to explain in detail why they observe what they do on the ECG. This course is intended to provide healthcare professionals and students to get a head start on understanding, analysing and interpreting basic electrocardiogram (ECG) rhythms
